 Hello guys!. Today in the modern world of work and career. We donot have time to make healthy tasty and most of it a less time accurating dish but there are still many dish we can make which are simple, less technical efforts and of courses its healthy.  Apni kursi ke peti bandh le, we are going to make idli shakshuka. Idli Shakshuka is a creative twist where idlis are cooked in a spiced tomato,panner,smabar gravy, similar to the base of shakshuka. This dish is hearty, protein-rich, and perfect for breakfast or a light meal.

Origins of Idli

Idli is a traditional South Indian dish made from fermented rice and urad dal batter, steamed into soft, fluffy cakes. The origins of idli can be traced back to ancient India, with mentions in Kannada literature as early as the 9th century 

However, the modern method of making idlis, is making it in steam boilers.

How to make it 

step 1 

 Make the idli batter. You an do both if u want to buy the ready made  idli batter or make it at home 

Step 2  

MAKE THE PASTE
Take a mixer grinder, add panner cashew, garlic, salt, and spcies as per need. grind it well.
CAUTION: do not add too much of panner in the mixer grinder, add little water and keep the proportion. 

Step 3 

THE REAL COOKING 
Take a pan, add oil and chopped onion, green chills and let it cook for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, and species to it and give it a good mix. Now add the paste we make earlier. Cook it in the vegetable until oil seperates. now add idli batter in it. and cook it for 15-20 minutes in slow medium. 

 Your idli shakskula is ready.  SERVE HOT
